SEARCH AND FIND

To find you must be able to search. Or in other words be in form of kinetic/potential energy. From sweating your butt off 9-5 24/7, to an extreme vegan diet, to your dedication to your art, a religious prayer or in the simplest form of your heart beating second by second, we are always in that form of kinetic/potential energy, searching for something whether we know it or not. That energy doesn't stop in physical human form until the heart stops beating and perhaps even then there is no stop and it transgresses in other forms of infinite energy..the basis of our existence? to find...?


On my own spiritual search I learn Islam,Iman,I'hSAN, the stages of Islam..in order.





step 1) ISLAM (THE OUTER, PHYSICAL SUBMISSION)



1)Shahadah..To say "There is no God but God and Muhammad is the Messenger of God"




2)Salat... To perform five daily prayers at dawn, noon, mid-afternoon, sunset and evening




3)Zakat...To give 2.5 percent of an individual's total net worth, excluding obligations and family expenses.




4)fASTING...To eat only after sunset to sunrise for a full month




5)Hajj...a pilgrim that follows the order of ritual that the Prophet Muhammad performed during his last pilgrimage to Mecca








step 2) IMAN( THE INNER BELIFE, TRUST)


to believe in Allaah, His Angels(who they are, what they do), His Books torah,bible,quran(last testament), His Messengers and their righteous lives, and the Last Day(DAY OF JUDGEMENT) and its signs, and to believe in divine destiny (qadr)(ALLAHS WILL), both the good and the evil of it.”






step 3) I'hSAN (enlightment, state excellence of worship, to see with allah, feel with allah, hear with allah, smell with aallah,taste with allah, fuction with the belif of allah, consciousness of allah) It is to worship Allaah as though you see Him, and if you do not see Him, then (knowing that) truly He sees you.








It is a epiphany that I realized just like life and its processes, Islam is like a slope. You start from the bottom and then progress, excel to enlightenment to find yourself. In its first stage in the five pillars it says to move up and down, to travel far, all among other demanding physical obligations. Along with Islam comes Iman ..to believe what you are doing when it comes to those physical obligations...but notice there isn't a specific emphasis in Islam to must have immediate ImAN or belief. so if who we are is to "find' then there's no wonder the five pillars are unmistakably the first stage of Islam because it is a search through life to find enlightenment or the next level Iman.






Like Islam is believed to be a metaphor of life , nothing is given so easily. Appreciation comes form achievement and the journey to get there makes everything , everything you found worthwhile and of value. To not be hungry you must know what hunger is or have had hunger. Just like to find love , happiness and all we search for takes a experience of searching for it to truly find it,to truly know what it is and that experience may not be all that pleasant. But yet that makes me smile to know that even the unpleasantry is a part of it,the package deal.






Sometimes we do all that we think we can do to get what we want and we still don't get there..but then comes a beating of the heart, that same potential energy..as reminder that we're still searching and its not over. What makes it beat and search? Perhaps that might just be what we are looking for.
