But what is the truth?... And the truth about this question is very simple. Although humanity has traveled far and wide with this question and have made this question soo poetic, it still remains very simple. To answer "but what is the truth?' is to distinguish fact vs. opinion.
In opinion, your truth can be different than my truth.
Our individual truths come in a form of a cradle to our ears and reality when it knocks on the door and saves the day in our individual struggles.
Our individual truth becomes even more evident when one feeling begins to validate the other and begin validating the world around us because that is the shade of lenses we've chosen to wear.
But what I want to ask is " what kind of truth can validate your shade of lenses and then allow you to still see that same validation as part of actually reality after taking them off?"
But as if looking into a blinding light for so long then looking elsewhere, for some who are stubborn will only still see spots of the same blinding light and not actual reality.
Witnessing self evident miracles in any religion or belief is very common. A Buddhist, Muslim, Christian, Jewish etc etc, even a satan worshiper could swear by their God that they've felt the truth in very so often life saving mannerisms.
But now FACT, which is defined as something that is proven not only by self truth but in various ways and time and time again in variety of not only opinions but pure evidences in a shared reality ... is truth.
Islam is the only religion / way of life that says " Here is the truth and you are challenged to go prove otherwise. Go prove that it is not true. And when you have finished your circling you would have witnessed that this is the truth" It is one of the only religion/way of life that constantly ask
humanity to think, to reflect. It plays the past for us as a reminder for learning purposes. Like an investigation it challenges our intellect by saying " take the case of.. in the case of..."
Islam encourages knowledge, inquiry, and questioning of most questions that the human mind can comprehend.
People have compared and challenged it in math, science, history, literature, and social justices. Even have put it to the test of comparing it to all religions. And with each religion the words of islam have been mentioned. In each subject, conversation and religion islam was there as truth and fact vs. opinion.
So to answer, "but what is the truth?".. How about looking towards islam- a way of life that has been validated as truth in everything thus far? And as they say it's 90% proven in science and every time science disagrees about something within Islam science then progresses and then agrees later on...
So what about Islam? At least taking a chance to learn about it and getting rid of ignorance.. Then ask yourself can anything else be as validated in a our shared reality as much as Islam has been in all conversations and evidences of life?
